Pro-Touring & Restomod Customization: Modern Performance Meets Classic Style
We were quick to enter the world of pro-touring restorations using the LS based fuel injected engine platform. Classic cars with this driveline are hard to beat with the performance, drivability and dependability that these drivelines offer.
We prefer to mate the LS engine to a Tremec T56 6 speed Magnum transmission with a hydraulic clutch but we can also use an automatic overdrive transmission for those of you who would prefer to sit back and cruise instead of shifting. We’ve used custom built harnesses with programmed computers as well as GM Performance engine management harnesses with pre-programmed ECMs.
Tubular suspension components, Vintage Heat and Air Conditioning, custom gauge clusters, 17 to 20 inch wheels are all commonplace in the pro-touring builds. Finally, we have a local partner shop that has a chassis dyno and is an expert in tuning the LS ECMs while trying to squeeze out every last piece of horsepower the engine has to offer.
