The TMC Story

Tony’s Muscle Cars is rooted as a father and son’s classic car restoration business started as a hobby in the 1980s. Since then, we have meticulously restored over 150 cars during the past 35 years! Tony Sr. and Tony Jr.’s combined passion for buying, selling and restoring classic GM muscle cars is evident based on our attention to detail ensuring every customer is more than satisfied. Tony’s has staked our reputation in building and restoring 1970-72 Chevelles but has the flexibility to restore GTOs, Camaros, Corvettes and other classic GM muscle cars. We are a full restoration shop from full frame off rotisserie restorations to engine compartment detailing and interior overhauling.

As the demand has grown for our custom cars, we actively sought a partner whose passion is equal to our own as to vehicle restoration. In October of 2022, Paul DeAngelo and his sons Jarrod and Paul Jr. partnered with Tony’s to satisfy that demand.

Long time residents and admirers of Tony’s creative abilities, the DeAngelo family’s own roots are deeply planted in the Hazleton area. The DeAngelo Family started DBi Services in 1978 with a $2,000 loan and grew it into a $250+ million revenue business with 2,000+ employees before selling it to a private equity firm in 2016. Since then, the family has continued to invest in entrepreneurial, family-owned businesses throughout the United States through their family-owned equity firm, Seven Isles Capital, providing support and needed capital for those business to continue to grow and realize their potential.

With the addition of the DeAngelo Family as a partner providing additional investment, Tony’s is in the process of relocating to a 34,0000 sq ft specialty restoration facility located on Route 309 in Hazleton, PA right off the South Beltway exit of Interstate 81. This will allow Tony’s to expand its production capabilities and fulfill customer orders more timely with no sacrifice to quality.

What We Do

Our Chevelles and other classic cars command high prices wherever they go because of our attention to detail and finesse that is needed to produce a high-quality restoration. We’ve sold several cars at Classic Car Auctions as well as partnering with our good friends at Old Town Automobile in Huntingtown, Maryland and RK Motors in Charlotte, North Carolina.

You can also bring your pride and joy to us for a partial or full restoration. Our customer restoration work is performed on a time and materials basis; you only pay for the hours that your car is being worked on in our shop along with the materials needed to complete your project.

We also specialize in building spec cars exactly the way you like with one of our many Chevelle and GTO donor cars – please see the cars for sale page for more details. Everything is new on the car except the body shell and frame. We use GM performance crate engines or can build you an engine to your liking through an established engine shop. When building a spec car, an agreement is signed by both parties, so the details of the build are fully understood.

See an example of our work featured by RK Motors below.  This car is now sold, but the video gives a good overview of the work performed by Tony’s Muscle Cars:
